Summer 2026's biggest nightlife trend in Nice isn't a new club — it's the beach club that doesn't stop at sunset. You arrive at noon for a sun lounger, you stay for the DJ, you don't leave until after midnight. Here are the spots that do it right on the Riviera.
Castel Plage — the Nice classic
Right at the eastern end of the Promenade, under the Colline du Château. Castel Plage is one of the oldest private beaches in Nice and still one of the most reliable. Sun loungers €25-35 a day, restaurant on site, DJ on weekends, apéro from 6 PM. Sunset here is unbeatable thanks to the cliff backdrop.
Blue Beach — the party beach
Promenade des Anglais, central. Blue Beach goes harder on the music — DJ sets several days a week in summer, sometimes major guest names. Younger crowd than Castel, more party-oriented. Cocktails €12-15. They run themed nights all summer.
Anjuna Beach — the Èze gem
20 minutes east of Nice by car or train, in Èze-sur-Mer. Anjuna is the secret weapon of the Riviera beach club scene. Set on a smaller cove with crystal water, it has a beach bar that turns into a dance floor at sunset. Tuesdays in summer are legendary.
Les Canailles — the Tuesday institution
Slightly outside central Nice. Their Tuesday apéro is one of the rituals of Riviera summer — starts at 6 PM, DJ, beach setting, runs late. If you're in town on a Tuesday between June and September, this is a must.
Hi Beach — the Promenade option
Centrally located on the Promenade des Anglais. Sun lounger by day, terrace bar by night. Less party than Blue Beach, more chill family-friendly until 8 PM, then progressively more lively.
Z Plage in Cannes — the day trip
Worth a mention. 35-minute train from Nice. Z Plage is Cannes's most photogenic beach club, attached to the Hôtel Martinez. Pricey (sun lounger €50+, cocktails €18+) but the experience is real. Day trip from Nice works perfectly: train in the morning, beach club all day, train back to Nice for a pub crawl evening.

Best move of summer 2026 in Nice. Beach club until 8-9 PM, then walk or quick taxi into Vieux Nice to meet a pub crawl group at 9 or 9:30 PM. The sea has burned a little color into you, you've had apéro, you're in vacation mode — perfect mindset for the night that follows.
